Enjoyed our stay. Loved the neighborhood. Some minor and not-very-expensive improvements would help. Windows need cleaning. For kitchen-- easier coffee maker, salad bowl, baking pan which fits inside the oven, and a bigger steamer pot for cooking pasta. Also, a couple small plug-in fans.
This third floor apartment was restored in the original style of the late 19th century. Stained glass windows in the sliding doors, herringbone parquet floors, original woodwork, classic bathroom and toilet, panel doors. Working fireplace in livingroom. It is situated near the Leidse Square and Jordaan, two famous Amsterdam area’s with many bars and restaurants. Museumdistrict in walking distance.
